New York bucket list

New York, New York! I can't believe my trip is right around the corner. I think I'm organised; I think I know what to pack; I'm sure I'm not as organised as I think I am but there are 7 days to go.
We've tried to plan but mum and I have both been pretty busy and not living close to each other can make it pretty difficult to pin things down. I have a list as long as my arm of the things I want to (at least attempt to do) so we'll see what can be concurred. We're there for nearly 5 days so plenty of time to tick a lot off. I've only mentioned 5 things here otherwise I may as well write a novel of all the things I want to do. Any must sees, let me know.

:: Doughnut Plant

This place featured in Naomi's video off NYC a few years ago and since then the place has always been in the back of mind as I place I must go and visit. And it's New York- home of the doughnut!

:: Central Park Zoo

While trekking through the park it will be nice to head to the zoo and see the penguins (y'know pretends its like the movie Madagascar 'smile and wave boys').

:: Flatiron/Shake Shack

I promise this list isn't just about food- although that plays a big part in this trip- but these 2 places are right beside each other. I never saw the Flatiron on my last trip and it just feels like an iconic view of NYC not to miss.

:: The Brooklyn Bridge

Last time I went to New York we trusted someone in our group who actually head no idea where he was going. The result was us heading towards Brooklyn meaning the closest I got to the bridge was the subway!

:: Top of the Rock

I've done the Empire State Building and it was beautiful-the day we went up you could see for miles. This time I would love to do Top of the Rock during the day and the Empire State Building at night. The ESB is only a 3-minute walk from our hotel- I'm so excited!
