Summer bucket list

We're starting to get more sunny days than rainy ones so I'm using that to say that summer must be on it's way.
Summer is not my favourite season but every year when it rolls around, I realise it's not that bad and maybe I'm giving it a hard time. I mean how can you not like long evenings spent outside, pimms, catching the sun and all those little things summer brings. With that said, I thought I'd confirm my hidden love for summer with my love for lists to produce my summer bucket list.

:: A weekend with friends in the countryside

My friends from uni/living in London have never actually been down to visit and I'd love them to see what I see and the beauty of the Devon countryside.

:: A proper bbq

I say proper because we have no garden in London, this means when the weather is perfect for throwing a couple burgers on the barbie we are at a loss. We try and recreate it in the house but it's never quite the same as setting up the table outside with loads of candles, plenty of snacks, a giant jug of pimms and the summer breeze.

:: Bike rides

Recently I've had this urge to start riding my bike again. I'm kind of terrified of the idea of riding on the London roads so this one might be a bit trickier. Also, my bike is not with me in London so for a substitute I'm thinking I may have to Boris Bike around Hyde Park while I'm in London (and also crossing off another list) and take a big long bike ride when I go home this summer.

:: A glamping trip

My favourite thing and one I'd love to accomplish by the end of summer. I've been looking around for a while and loved Rosie's glamping trip but I'm thinking somewhere near the sea would be amazing.

:: Spend more time outside

It's so easy to come home from work and flake in front of the tv but, if the weathers good, I plan on evening picnic in the park and walks by the river- really make the best of the English summertime.
