September favourites

As if we're into the first week of October already!! I'll admit I've already thought about Christmas too many times, and I may have pulled out my big winter scarf. These approaching months are my absolute favourite.

:: Our London visit

Alex and I booked tickets to London before we even left the city and I'm so glad we did. It's so easy to say that you'll do something and then never do it (it was one of our main problems while living in London). At the beginning of the month we took the train up and spent just over 24 hrs there and it was so nice; there is something to be said for visiting and not living there that makes you appreciate it so much more. We were so much more relaxed and happy and the trip was so much fun.

:: New Socks

With autumn in full swing it's time to get the boots out. With boots and the colder months brings socks. And I love my unicorn ones; so much so I bought extra in case I get holes in the first pair. Thank you New Look for always making fun socks!

:: & other stories lemon body scrub

While in London I popped into &other stories and starting looking through their beauty section when I stumbled across their lemon body scrub. It is now my favourite shower time exfoliant. It has the freshness of the lemon but a richness with the wood in it; it smells divine. Yes DIVINE!!!! I want to stockpile it and perhaps add the body lotion to my collection for post shower beautifying!

:: James Bay tickets

Yes!!! I managed to get tickets to see James Bay on tour next March! I'm so excited! As you all know- he blew me away with his voice as Glastonbury and now I get to see him headline is own show. And it means another trip to London for me and Alex and we're going with great friends. It's one amazing thing that is firmly going into the 2016 diary!

:: Autumn vibes

Now, my wardrobe might not be ready for the autumn weather but I am. It's one of my favourite times of year as the evenings draw in, the boots and scarves are pulled out of storage and red wine becomes your drink of choice. Hello autumn, thanks for arriving, I promise to enjoy all of you until my favourite month of November is here.

Taking those moments
