September Favourites

September, there's something so new and exciting about September. It might have been a long time since I started school, I mean jeez, it's been a long time since I started university but there is still something about the month that screams fresh start for me. The end of the month saw another bout of heartbreak and if I'm honest the year could finish and we'll start again in 2017.

But the weather changes and we say goodbye to summer and hello to comfy knits, evenings in, the heating on and a better start than the other 9 months I've had so far.

What better way to welcome in the new season with a perfect period drama on a Sunday night. Has anyone else been watching Victoria? I love it, I especially heart Rufus Sewell. My heart my have burst a little bit when Victoria professed her love for Lord M at Brocket Hall. The last episode is next week and I'm not sure what to do when it's all over.

This lipstick has been getting a lot of use and will  do throughout the upcoming months. During autumn/winter I love that you can wear a dark shade day and night. It has lasting power, but I only wish it didn't transfer onto everything. Hand over your tips now on how it can stay on.

Who doesn't love a trip to the cinema? Even the popcorn has a different smell and taste then when you have it at home. A and I managed 2 cinema trips in September and have more lined up over the next couple months. For me, the cinema is the perfect winter date night.

I think of all the things I miss about London, Wahaca is up there with the very best of them. The food and their passionfruit margaritas are something else. I've got everything crossed that they open a restaurant near me. Move over Nandos Black Card, I'd be Wahaca's number 1 customer. Chicken taquitos and margs please! Anyway, as I don't have a restaurant nearby the next best thing is when I saw Wahaca at home I snapped it up immediately. A and I have a date night at home planned for this week and Wahaca is on the menu!

A work trip and an excuse to catch the last of the warm summer sun. A long weekend was just what the doctor ordered. Drinks, networking and a whole lot of laughs. Keep your eyes peeled on a post coming soon.
