I love eating out, I think it's probably one of my favourite things to do. Whether it's for an occasion or just a quick bite after work. Chinese or pub grub, your finest Italian or somewhere mainstream, if I had all the money in the world (if I was a rich girl, la la la la, thanks Gwen!) I think I would eat out most nights of the week. Oh real life- you're such a ball buster! But seriously, there are so many great reasons for eating out.
:: THE VARIETY ::
Whatever the mood your in for you can find somewhere to satisfy that. Granted now that I'm in the countryside I may have to travel a bit further or wait until Devon has caught up (oh precious Mexican food, why has no one made you move to my area of Devon yet?!) but I'm lucky with the choice around me.
:: NO WASHING UP ::
It speaks for itself; I love cooking but I can be a messy chef. Going out eliminates all of this- no prep, no mess and no clearing up.
:: IT JUST TASTES BETTER ::
I mean majority of the time, unless you are unlucky enough to encounter a dodgy meal. But 99.9% of the time the food just tastes better when you're out and someone else is cooking it.
:: DESERTS ::
Okay so I don't always have room for pudding but I like that the option is always there. I usually always look up the deserts first to weigh up my options for the rest of the meal!
:: GOING NEW PLACES ::
Sometimes it means I get to dress up; heels, lipstick, the lot, other times it means I can put on my cosiest clothes and find the best comfort food my stomach wants. I like trying new meals at home and sometimes nothing beats a home cooked meal but finding a new place, in my local town, when my village pub has new owners and better food, I love it.
