Packing for Iceland

Now I've been to Iceland around this time of year before and it's breathtakingly beautiful and magical and very chic but it's also cold.

When the wind picks up it's freezing. Last time I went it was the coldest it had been in years, -15. Yep -15- try blending in and looking chic when it's cold!

Now, I don't think it's going to be that cold this time (I hope not) but it will still be chilly. My plan of attack is layers- lots of layers.

:: THERMALS ::

You may laugh but these were lifesavers. We have a day trip planned where we'll be on and off a bus all day. And if we manage to see the Northern Lights it'll be late, dark and chilly.

:: BLANKET SCARF ::

It's huge, it's snuggly. Perfect addition to my outfits.

:: COATS ::

I'm seeing how much space we have in the suitcase but if I can I plan on taking 2 coats.

:: LAYERS ::

Long sleeve tops, jumpers, lots of socks- you name it it's going in the case. There is nothing worse than being cold.

:: SHOES ::

I plan on mainly living in boots but I may chuck in a pair of heels if we go out for a fancy dinner and it's not too icy underfoot.
