Eat:: Crosstown Dougnuts

Sometimes there's nothing better than an early-ish start to your Sunday; heading into town for breakfast and a spot of people watching. Alex and I did just that on our final day London; we started our day with doughnuts, drinks and people watching in Carnaby Street.

Crosstown Doughnuts has been a place on my list for a while but I never got there when we lived in London. Not this though, we made it and the choice I faced of what to order was tough. I honestly could have bought a box of them but knew they'd be eaten far too quickly. Instead we ordered just 3; 1 each for breakfast and a cinnamon glaze one for when we were back home that evening with a cup of tea.

Like all places that have fresh doughnuts on offer, go earlier rather than later before a) they sell out and b) they go slightly hard and stale. I would definitely head back here and sample more of what they have to offer. I'm pretty content on making my way through London's bakeries and cake shops, trying them all for the greater good.

Red ruby tea, delicious. And totally the balanced out the unhealthy doughnut right?
