:: MOVIE MARATHONS ::
It's time to drag out all the blankets and get those movies lined up. This Autumn I'm feeling reruns of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and a load of Disney.
:: POTTER MORE ::
There's something so relaxing and cosy about bundling up in your dressing gown, switching the heating on. Lamps glowing and big mug of tea. Add to that a breakfast that is a little bit fancier than usual and eating it at the table, catching up with each other and ignoring the rest seems better in autumn than summer.
:: GET OUT IN THE FRESH AIR ::
Borrow 2 dogs from parents and go off somewhere. Get that crisp cold air in your lungs. Return dogs and settle in for movie afternoon.
:: ROAST DINNER IN THE PUB ::
Aren't Sundays in the winter months all about roast dinners. And what's even better is going out for one where you don't have to cook afterwards! It's a total bummer that A works nearly every Sunday. If we had Sundays free I'd be sampling carveries and roasts up and down the South West. Instead we'll have to make sure we pick the very best when A gets the time off to explore with me.
:: FINISHING THE HOUSE ::
I've mentioned it before but finishing off the house is a goal of ours so it's perfectly cosy and somewhere we're 100% happy for hibernate for the next 4 months.
:: FIND THE PERFECT KINTWEAR ::
Drag your other half out or take more willing friends and head out shopping. Get flustered and bothered as you wrestle yourself in and out of your coat while you try on different things but then come home and marvel in all the pretty of the new things you've bought.
:: HAVE A GAME NIGHT ::
Pull out all the classics, open a bottle of wine and get going. A and I are big fans of Monopoly. But we're open to others...time to build up the collection.
:: BAKE ::
Autumn/winter is my favourite time to bake. You are not a complete sweaty mess that summer baking usually is and the smell throughout the house as you pretty make everything with cinnamon in is a winner.
