July Favourites

Half way through 'summer' already- whaaat!! I'm not sure I'm ready to accept that just yet, surely more sun is to come before we start pulling out the hats and jumpers again.

July has been in a blink of an eye; I honestly think it's the quickest month this year,it's so quick I can barely remember what I did!

The mini heatwave that came this month happened on my days off work- bliss. Cushions were dragged outside and I started to make a dent in my pile of magazines. We didn't get a chance to BBQ, maybe we'll have a few more days of summer sun so I can have more than one!

I'm trying to step out and wear more of what makes me happy. I'm not the most body confident but by wearing clothes that I love I'm hoping to change this. Get ready for me Devon, I'm not sure you fully get my choices.

I made this dish the other week and oh mama it was TASTY. I served it with noodles but next time going to go sticky rice. It was so simple to make; just leave marinating in the day and then pop in the oven when home.

Mark the calendar, A and I managed to spend a whole weekend with each uninterrupted by work! And it was fantastic- we managed to mark so many things off our to do lists. We did a whole heap of wedding stuff, pottered about at home and just relaxed. I miss our weekends/evenings together.

Praise the lord, a big makeup brand actually made it further than Bristol and into my local city. I've been wanting to try NYX products for a while now but wanted to see the products for myself before doing an internet purchase, so thanks Boots, you dolls. I stocked up on a load of products and I'm loving them all. One of the best bits is that they don't break the bank and there is so much to choose from.
