An Ode to Tea

An Ode to Tea

There's nothing quite as humble as a cup of tea. Without knowing it, it can have such an effect on someone's day. A bad cup of tea and it's a talking point (milk first, no thank you), a good cup of tea and you feel like you can take on the world!

Any time you feel sick, sad or tired a cup of tea helps you power through, it's the closest thing to a warm hug you can get without human or animal interaction. A drink that is appreciated at any time of the day, breakfast, lunch, dinner; 5am, 3pm, 9pm. It brings people together, friends, family, complete strangers, all wanting that strength a cup of tea provides.

For something so simple (just 3 ingredients for me) it has the ability to fix things, to begin to mend, to start healing, even if you didn't know it needed to. Each cup gets you through the good, bad, sad and happy times. Here's to you tea. You're a little super hero in a mug and you don't know how great you really are!
